2021 FMP - Environmental Design Project

This environmental design project has been done for my 2021 Final Major Project. In this project I have made assets using Blender and used them within Unity. What I have tired to achieve in this project is to make 2 different environments for a fantasy world within unity while taking inspiration from the real world, games and other types of media.
In this project I have made:
A forest environment
A desert environment
3 different rocks within Blender
A sand texture within Blender
A sand stone texture within Blender
Trees using Unitys tree tools
Plateau structures
A small mountain/large hill
Fireflies particle effects
Sand particles particle effects
Each of the environments are roughly 4 terrains in size making the overall size of this world 8 terrains. The forest environment features 3 types of tree to try and avoid everything just looking exactly the same. However as there was only 3 it is clear to see the same tree being reused. This is one of the reasons why I added the Fireflies particle effects as they are able to appear randomly in the set areas and be of different sizes and move randomly.
By comparison the desert half of the world seems a bit more empty. This was intentional as the desert was supposed to feel like a desolate wasteland devoid of life. To try and emphasize this I added dead trees to the desert area to show that the area was once capable of supporting life but is now unable to. I also made a sand particle effect to try and show sand being blown in the wind in an attempt to give the area a little more character.
